This necklace features an authentic South African Krugerrand 1/2 oz Gold Bullion coin mounted in a solid 14K yellow gold bezel, and complemented by a heavy solid 14K rope chain.
 
Krugerrands are 22K in purity, but made to weight specification such that each half-ounce coin contains exactly one-half ounce of pure gold.   The pendant overall, with 14K bezel, weighs 21.8 grams.  The 18" solid 14K rope chain weighs 16.9 grams.
