This pretty ring features a stylized setting that is both pretty and fairly heavy - total weight of this beauty is a full 6.1 grams (a 25 cent Washington Quarter, by comparison, weighs 5.6 grams).   The shank and S-curve shoulder setting are made of polished and solid 14K yellow gold, fully hallmarked, and the top setting features three (3) oval-cut natural Amethysts measuring 6mm x 4.5mm joined by three (3) very nice round brilliant cut White Diamonds that look to be close to 10 Points / .10ctw each.
 
The top setting measures .5" wide (finger direction) and the ring is a size 8 as measured on our own ring sizing mandrel.
 
Because of the heavy weight of the setting, gold melt value alone is almost $300 - that's just for the gold in the setting, without consideration for the gemstones and labor to create such a pretty piece of jewelry.  Our ask price of only $450 represents a very modest premium over the gold melt value of the ring - another great AFW find at a very aggressive price.
