Before the R8857 design was discontinued it was actually created in several colorways, some of which we've carried including London Blue Topaz, Champagne Quartz, and Prasiolite. This particular R8857 is the 18K Rose Gold + Amethyst colorway.   It's a beautiful colorway in one of Bellarri's most dynamic "Diva" Collection designs.   
 
It starts with a substantial and heavy solid 18K Rose Gold band and setting - total weight of this ring is 12.5 grams, more than a third of an ounce.   The center stone is an 8.50 carat Lavender-hued Amethyst which features both a faceted table and Bellarri's signature "Mystique Cut", which creates a brilliant "explosion of light" refraction pattern.   Surrounding the Amethyst are White Diamonds, almost a quarter carat (.23ctw) of G color SI beauties.  
 
The top setting measures a full .95" long (finger direction) x .8" wide across the gentle-sloping shoulders of the setting.  The rise is .3" up off the finger, as the Amethyst does sit prominently in the setting.  It's not a huge ring, but not super-low profile either.   The band is a standard Bellarri 7, with sizing service available although within a limited range due to the thickness of the shank.  Please contact us before purchase and let us know what you need, if it's other than a 7.
