Bellarri "La Petite" 18K Yellow Gold, Peridot, Green Tourmaline & White Diamond Ring

This ring represents a bit of a conundrum for us and will likely be a difficult sell, while ironically being one of a handful of rings on the site that doesn't photograph well and will leave the lucky buyer looking skyward and thanking the clouds that they took a chance on it. It's that beautiful. You just need to trust us on this.

It's from the "La Petite" Collection, which is a misnomer. It's not that petite! The top setting may measure only .55" long in finger direction, but it measures .85" wide across the shoulder settings and has a rise of .3" up off the finger. So don't let the "La Petite" designation fool you - this isn't a tiny ring but we know the name will mistakenly scare off those people who don't want tiny rings.

It features a solid 18K yellow gold shank and setting, with a gorgeous 3.22 carat all-natural earth-mined peridot center stone. The peridot is a faceted cushion cut, but with a twist - Bellarri also cut the underside of the stone but in a completely different pattern than the top which creates some unusual and brilliant light refraction which we've captured in a few of the photos below.

Flanking the center stone are 1.99 carats of faceted cylindrical peridot and green tourmaline, one of each on each side. Seven points of white diamonds decorates every gemstone setting.

Unfortunately, peridot supplies are not only tight, but quality is challenging. Finding smaller mediocre stones is easy, but larger stones with good color and clarity are difficult. As a result, everything with peridot is going to cost more - this ring would have cost $1295 on our site 3 years ago, and it'll cost $1695 next year. For now, we've got this at $1495, which is a little higher than we'd like, relative to other rings we have, but if you want peridot your window for decent stones is getting smaller and more expensive so procrastination won't help.

Shank size is 7 and sizing is available.
