Bellarri "Romantica" 18K Amethyst Ring

From Bellarri's "Romantica" Collection, this ring is bigger than it's price tag - we think it's from a slightly older price list, hence the low $995 price, but it wears like a ring $300-400 more expensive.

It features a solid 18K white gold setting holding two trillion cut amethysts (total 4.52 carats) facing each other offset fashion, with a full 21 points of F/G VS diamonds, again a much higher diamond count than we normally can offer in this price range.

The amethysts are as beautiful in person as in the photos, crystal clear and deep-hued with bursts of hot pink and violet. The tables are flat, with scalloped edges, as you can see in the pictures - but what you don't quite see is the faceting underneath that creates a gorgeous geometric refraction pattern. We included a lot of pictures, but with some pieces you really can't appreciate it until you see it with the naked eye - this ring falls into that category.

The setting is more than half an inch wide at the widest points of the amethyst settings, and the shank tapers up to that width from the bottom. It's not a huge ring, but it's not petite - if you like your rings dynamic, this will qualify. But because of the setting design, and flat-tabled amethysts, it sits less than 2/10 of an inch up off the finger so it will also work as an everyday ring because it isn't obtrusive.

It's sized just a little smaller, right between a 6.5 and 6.75, and sizing is available.
