Bellarri "Capri" 18K Green Gold, Peridot & White Diamond Ring

As you can see in the photos, "green" gold isn't really green, but rather a very bright almost pastel gold. Whereas 18K yellow gold is created by combining pure gold with either nickel, manganese or palladium, 18K green gold is created by combining pure gold with pure silver. So pure gold is still combined with a white metal, but the resultant hue is brighter.

This ring, from the "Capri" Collection, features a striking design that combines different shapes and sizes of cutouts in the shank with four different shapes, sizes and cuts of all-natural untreated peridot. The total carat weight is only 3.75 carats but the size of the stones makes it look like the carat weight is higher. A full 21 points / .21ct of white diamonds completes the presentation.

The setting measures .7" wide tapering down to only .15" wide at the bottom of the shank. The setting isn't thick, rising less than .15" up off the finger. The ring weighs 10.9 grams, almost the weight of two 25 cent Washington quarters.

Retail on this was over $5500 - before tax - but we have it for only $1895 brand new and retail fresh.
